When to change out XM 250Watt 10Ks
The bulbs are pushing 1 year old and are still blinding white and have never missed a lick. Is it time to replace them and if so, how much of an adjustment will it be for the corals? If you use the XM10ks and have changed the bulbs, how often do you change them and how did you aclimate the corals to the new ones.
Thanks Andrew |

I have my XM 10Ks for 18+ months and they are going strong. Corals and clams are doing great.

I would shoot for 18 months as well. IMO 12-24 months is the time to change (depending on how many hours you run them). If you can afford to change them often, there is no harm in doing so.

for the acclimation, just layer up some window screen and remove one sheet a week or so.
