changed from 150w HQI to 400W 14K HQI why is everything getting brown algae on it..
my acrylic tank is growing brown algae film on the acrylic like every 2 to 3 days and i have to wipe it off all the time, my corals are doing fine though, anybody know whats going on here? thanx in advance for helping...

You are going to get algae blooms from the upgrade in lighting intensity. This will diminish once the halide breaks in. Just keep up on the maintenance part and you will be fine in a few weeks.
