Stress coat

Has anybody ever tried this to cure ich? It seems like it would work by giving the fish a nice slime coating. Any thoughts?

It won't work for curing ich, but I do like Pro Tech Coat Marine and StressGuard to use as a temporary mucus layer for fish that have been transported, netted or otherwise injured.
