FS: Black & White Occellaris (Orange County)
Around 2-1/4" long, eats frozen mysis, brine, and Formula One mini pellets. Currently hosts my frogspawn so want it to go to a tank with similar corals for it to host(frogspawn, torch, hammer, etc.) Reason I am selling is because I want to add a pair of perculas to my cube but this fish controls my cube tank and would kill them if I added them. $15 FIRM takes.

I was told that mine is a black saddle back, but it looks identical to yours. Where in OC are you located and how fast do you want to get rid of it?

Black saddleback's second stripe goes onto the top fin/ Black occ do not. their second stripe goes only to the top of the back and does not stretch across the top fin. I have seen misbarred black occ and they are definitely different.

If it killed the other one it is probably a female or turning into the female.

When I first got them I had them in a 10gal. and the one that died would always chase after this one and keep it hiding behind the rockwork. Then when I moved them to a 20gal., they totally switched roles. This one would terrorize the other, would never let it go near its frogspawn. The other clown just hid behind the rocks. I remember catching them a few times where the clown would bite the other one's fin and hold on to it and drag it down to the bottom of the tank.

Chris
Just wanted to thank you for the clown and let you know he is doing fine. He is getting along with everyone. I let him float in the tank in a perforated clear clear container for at least 24 hours before releasing him. Just wanted to make sure no one was going to get to aggressive. It seamed to have worked, as long as the stay away from the eggs of my mated pair. He/she was in one of my anemones for the first time last night. Not sure what will happen pairing wise. He/she was hanging out with my bigger black clown, but now the two original black clowns are spending more time together. Jealousy I think, has motivated my smaller black clown. My smaller black clown is about the same size as the one I got from you. I may have to find another one so no one feels left out. Steve
