Stress coat as alt. for RO/DI

Would it be okay to use Stress Coat http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+112993
for a while til I can get a RO/DI unit, I'm kinda broke from all the other expenses.

I used stress coat and tap water for years on my fish only tank. I recently got an ro/di, but I never had any real problems with tap.

Ditto..... Stresscoat or Novaqua,, used for many years. Still cant replace good old RO/DI though
