I think that is the longest sentence I have ever seen!

Do you have any images to illustrate this?

If you want a skimmer that can be run externally as a recirculating skimmer, then there are 2 choices that I'm aware of. Deltec and Euro-Reef. However, I suggest that you spend the extra $$ on the Deltec due to MAJOR customer service issues with their competitor. Check out the Deltec forum and ask your question there. You will get the answers to your questions from them as to what to purchase and how it will work.

One more thing, and I don't mean to be insulting, but next time please use some basic punctuation. The run-on sentences make it VERY difficult to read and interpret what you are asking.

Am I to understand you want your skimmer to run externally from the sump and be a recirculating skimmer?

I agree with reefmaniac1 on euroreef. I think they make a great skimmer but just recently they dropped their level of sponsorship to get rid of their forum. Seems too convenient with their latest troubles with customer support.
