Serpent star eating my feather duster!!
Well, I just came back from the LFS. One of the items I bought was a large feather duster. I've never had one before and I was really amazed at how fast it would come back out after being disturbed.
I also have 3 harlequin serpsent stars in the tank. I had to turn the lights out because I just got a maroon clown that was getting tormented like crazy. After the lights went out, he settled into my BTA nicely. Very happy about that. But then I look over and one of my starfish came flying out and is trying to rip the feather duster apart with 3 legs at a time!! The thing won't go back in it's pipe to protect itself. It probably won't be there in the morning. 15.00 ourderv. At least it wasn't more. Anybody ever heard of this phenomenon? |

Well, I just looked in there again and the starfish seems to be leaving it be now. The duster must have been excreting something that was tasty to the starfish. Hopefully that won't happen anymore.
