Seachem's Purigen + Reef Tank = Tank Crashes?

Has anyone heard of Seachem's Purigen causing tank crashes, or unfavorable side effects as a result using it in a reef tank?

More info on Sechem's site:
http://www.seachem.com/products/prod...s/Purigen.html

Thank you in advance for your replies!

I've used Purigen for over a year and have never seen any adverse side effects.

I would look elsewhere for the cause of your crash. No problems here.

LOL!!! This thread was recommended at the bottom of a page I was on. I didn't bother reading the post date.

Is it safe to say that, four years later, the Purigen was not reponsible for the tank crash?
