Houdini the Nudibranch
So I got lettuce nudibranch yesterday and acclimated it right before I went to bed. I put him in my HOT fuge (it’s the 2.5 gallon backpack) which is not very full of chaeto right now, it only has a ball about the size of a softball in it. I watched him quickly start crawling from the sand up the side of the fuge, he stopped in the corner to look around and I then turned off the lights and went to bed.
This morning I get up and go to look at him because he’s so cool and I don’t see him! I checked everywhere in the fuge and he’s not there. I didn’t have time to pull apart the chaeto and see if he had burrowed inside of it. Is it possible that he could have made himself a little home inside of the chaeto overnight, or escaped into the tank? Thanks, Kyle

alright he's escaped into the tank, I don't know how he did that, but now he's attacking my squamosa. Do nudibranches eat squamosas or is he just checking the clam out?

The lettuce slug will not hurt your clam.
