Please help w/finger leather & green "colt" like leather
I have these 2 corals that are just not doing well- sort of gradually shrinking & not opening their polyps over the last 2-3 months - which is pretty much since I've had them
Could someone tell me what they need? My euphylia, turbinaria, mushrooms, alveopora, daisy polyps, hairy shrooms, button polyps, plating montipora, gorgonian & clam all seem fine I don't have recent photos yet, but here's a photo of my tank - you can see the finger leather on the right and it is already not opening its polyps & now has shrunk to about half it's former size ![]() The other coral was a huge frag I got from someone because it was taking over his tank, but in my tank it has not thrived Any thoughts?

Alk/KH is 423/11.8
Ca is 425 ph - 8.3 Alk is higher than usual because the LFS had me convinced that it had gotten down to 150. I bought a new Salifert test which confirmed my old readings were right & the LFS is wrong as usual The pH is usually slightly lower 8.2 - 8.1

You might want to check and make sure nothing is stinging it....sweepers and tentacles can reach farther than you might think.

One of them did have a euphyllia sting it a little. But it was a huge coral & this was just a small area.
