Brown spot on Reeflux 250Watt 10k bulb??

Just got a pair of these and one is buring brighter than the other. The dim bulb has brown stuff on the inside of the bulb where it fires. I beleive this is diming the bulb. I tried to face it up but no matter how I start the bulb, it ends up with the brown side facing down. Any seen this before? I am used to these things being completely clear. No brown stuff.

Thanks

Andrew

I'd try contact the manufacturer and getting a replacement.

How long have you burned them so far? Give them both some time to burn in. If, after 60 - 100 hours or so they still arent' right contact the supplier.

I contact the retailer and he said the same thing. I think they are going to be ok so I will give them a week or so. Really like the color from just these bulbs. No actinics and they look great. Not to blue and no yellow at all.

Thanks

Andrew
