suggestions for fish for small bb tank
i recently set up a standard 29g tank. i am running the tank with a bare bottom with quite a bit of current to keep debris in the water column and heavy skimming. there is quite a bit of liverock in the tank.
current inhabitants: false perc clown very small yellow watchman goby firefish small unidentified reddish-purple fairy wrasse cleaner shrimp peppermint shrimp 10 blue legs 5 astria snails boat-load of mushrooms i'm curious if there are any small fish that would do well in a small bare bottom tank. i like gobies...any suggestions there? could i add some chromis to this tank, or is it a bit small? thanks! ben |

I would think that the goby and firefish need sand. Am I correct?

Sorry, I wasn't specific. Not clown gobies.

I would say a Long Nose Hawkfish would be nice. No chromis IMO/IME. But for now I would let the tank mature a little more, JMO.
Also try to add a couple more astreas and or ceriths in the mix as far as your snail population goes.
