tearing tank down...

In the past few months I've had to travel for work quite a bit. I've left my tank in the care of a friend and that hasn't work out so well so I've decided to tear down my tank. I've given away some of my SPS frags but I have a few left that I want to give to someone this week.

I'd like to give the frags to one person to make life a little simpler.

I have 4 frags of cali blue tort, 3 frags of tyree LE ponape torch staghorn, a yellowish/green porites and a few other random frags.

Also, if someone else wants them, I have a green pagoda cup (about 7-8" across) and a bubble coral. The bubble coral didn't fare too well while I was away -- it receeded some but it looks to be getting better now.

I'm pretty much looking to give the coral away. If you want to give me some money for it I won't say no but I'm not looking for any money.

After I get rid of the coral I'll sell my fish and live rock. If you're interested in the fish I have:
blue tang 7-8" $50 (10mos)
yellow tang 5" $20 (8mos)
blond naso tang 7-8" $50 (10mos)
GSM clown w/ RBTA 3" $25 (2yrs)
algae blenny 6" $10 (2yrs)
All of the fish are healthy and fat. I'd prefer to keep the two large tangs together if possible and I'll give you my three cleaner shrimp if you take them both.

If someone makes a really good case for getting any of the fish for free I'll consider that as well.

I think that I have about 100lbs of live rock left but I'm not exactly sure as I've given a bunch of it away. It'd be nice to get about $50 for all of it. It has some hairy green mushrooms and misc polyps on it.

After all of that I'll be giving away the sand if anyone wants it. Also if anyone wants a 10g fuge with a billion (plus or minus) bristle worms and pods of all sorts and a huge urchin its yours for $20. I'm not sure what sort of urchin it is as it came with my live rock as a baby and now its got 2" spikes. Its maroon in color. The fuge is a 10g truvu tank with (poorly) drilled holes in it and two of those home depot lights on it.

Anyway please send me private messages if you're interested. I'm in North San Jose and will be available later this week. I'll try to email everyone back Tuesday night.

Too bad my tank isn't larger - otherwise I would have take the Blonde Naso. 7" is way to big for my 120G.

I can take any frags and liverock off your hands. Setting up a tank for a school and they don't have much to get it going.

Hi Everyone,

I received about a million pms. I'll look through them tomorrow and let the ones who will get the goods know.

I do have some equipment that I'll be getting rid of after but I'll post about that after the live stuff is gone.

Thanks,
Luke.

I can definitely house your fishs. I've a 300g and currently have coral beauty, flame angle, foxface, niger trigger, a dwarf and snake eels. Mostly softy in my tank with a few start SPS frags. Your fishs will be in good hand. Please PM me since your box seems to be full. Thanks.

Ugh. Ok guys sorry its been a bad week. I finally got around to tearing the tank down today.

Someone wanted to take all of the fish together so I figured that that would be the best bet for keeping them in their happy little family unit. Anyway all of the coral and fish are gone. Thanks to everyone who responded and sorry if I couldn't get back to you.

I have a 30g garbage can of lr sitting around now.

I had one person lined up for the rock but he's not available till monday. If someone can pick the rock up today its yours. Its got polyps, some shrooms, a 2" feather duster, lots of yellow sponges on it, etc. Its worth considerably more than $50 but y'know ... I had a few offers from people cycling their tanks but I'm pretty sure that that wouldn't be too good for anything that is currently alive on it.

Anyway please give me a call at 408-421-7621 if you can swing by today.

I have someone lined up for the fuge but if that doesn't work out I'll post about that as well.

If anyone is interested in a 100g tank + black stand for around $200 let me know. They're not in the best shape mainly due to their previous owner but they're usable. As always I'm pretty flexible on price as I do have a day job that pays considerably better than used tank sales

Thanks again and sorry for being so unavailable this week.

Luke.
