Emerald crab eating corals
I finally caught my Emerald Crab in the act of eating my corals. A few weeks ago I had 2 chunks taken off of a Yellow Leather and a Toadstool Mushroom. Last night I caught the little son of a B**** eating my Zooanthids. He managed to somehow eat about 30 Polyps in 1 night. I looked in the tank and seen him in the act. I managed to catch him and stick him in one of my refugiums. I don't know why he would grow an appitite for my coral, he is fed plenty of food. Now that he has eaten the Zoo's should I be expecting him to die from the toxins?

Mine always live for a while and then mysteriously die, but corals and cleaner shrimps etc are always fine. Unless you have a reason for the emerald screw em. And if he does die? Who cares. You dont necessarily need to remove him for fear of death/ammonia spike, it wont burden the filtration to much. Optional in my opinion. Get rid of him if you dont have a reason for him.
