Halide Ballast Wiring Help
Ok I bought a raw halide ballast of ebay. I have wired Flourescent bulbs before but this wiring diagram is somewhat different if I am reading it right do I wire the red from the capacitor to the white of the socket and the black off of the socket to the com yellow then wire the black yellow to the posite plug and the other com yellow wire to the neg plug? I will include a pic so someone can help me.
Thanks Patrick |

277V (Black), 240V (Violet), 208V (Orange) wires need to be capped off independently.
The 120V (Black/Yellow) from the ballast gets connected to the black from the power cord. One Com (Yellow) from the ballast gets connected to the white from the power cord. The other Com (Yellow) from the ballast gets connected to the white wire from the lamp socket. The Cap (Red) wire from the ballast goes to the capacitor. The Red wire from the capacitor goes to the black wire from the lamp socket. |
