40 breeder light

i am setting up a 40 gallon breeder. which light would be better a 250watt metal halid or 384pc. well i have to fixter a 196w orbit and a 196w odyssea. should i switch to mh or what kind of like combination would be best


this is a picture of my new picasso clown i bout a couple days ago it is goin in my 40 gallon breeder i have a 37 gallon right now i just want to switch over so i could get a better depth.

Have you considered T-5's. Bright, no heat issues, lower power consumption, long bulb life.

if you refer to t 5 what kind or reflector should i buy. or what place on the internet would have the cheapest t 5 lighting system

I've been running this fixture on my 30 breeder and so far I like it. Seems like too much, but the 40 is taller so I think it would be perfect.
