I have had them move rocks, eat coralline, and eat polyps...
Handy if you have an algae problem, but you don't seem to have one. ![]() Rich

I had one... they are large and clumsy with their spikes. They will knock everything over, especially in a more crowded tank. I got rid of him... Now I have a Tuxedo, seems to be a much better choice.

the reason i wanna hav one is thinking the urchin may clean up the sand bed, seems like i was wrong!
stephen the tank is under a 150w 20000k MH + 2 x 27W actinics water flow 900g/hour. once a week 2 % water change & iodine, trace element, strongtium supplement, that's about it... or visit the the following for more: click for more under the folder "equipment" for pics of sump, + other equipments |

If you've got a dirty sandbed, try a cucumber, otherwise I have two urchins that are reef-safe but do eat coralline.
