Strange puffs of waste from rock.
So, while I am watching my new TBS live rock, i notice every now and then these puffs of waste (or something) that gets expelled from the rock from certain holes, like a creature is throwing up. Anyone know what organism is doing this? Is it a barnicle? Or something hiding in the rock? Cool to see, but just want to know what is going on.
Thanks. |

something's burrowing. I have a rock with a lot of major worms, and the rock apparently poops every morning, regular as clockwork. It's a very odd thing for a rock to do, and I've never seen the actual perpetrator.

I have that as well and keep finding grey "turd torpedoes" that definetely aren't coming from any known livestock. I have never seen, gasp, the dreaded creature.

Guess im gonna have to break out the red lense. I did see a worm earlier come slowley out of the rock and stretch pretty far to grab a shell, then i moved and he was gone with the shell at light speed. Those guys can be fast when unextending. :-)
Thanks |
