skimmer selection
All, I need a skimmer for a 300 gallon FO aquarium that is in sump. Is the ASM G4x a good skimmer? or do you have any suggestions on an easy to mantain skimmer that would meet my requirement?
Thanks |

I wish someone would answer your question louie, I'm looking at the same thing for my 240 gallon. Consider this a bump.

G4x is a good skimmer
it really depends on the $$$ you have if you can afford to spend more I would however the g4x would work if that's the max you want to spend I went with a ER 12-2 which I converted to a RC500. I purchased it used & payed not much more then what a g4x goes for with a g4x on a 300g the RC mod & gate valve mod should be done which pushed the skimmer into the price range of some much better built units
