best cheap purchase youve ever made

IMO, the best thing that i have ever purchased for under 25 dollars was my alkalinity test kit by salifert. I would like to here some others opinions on there best purchase ever for under 25 dollars.

edit: this could be anything- drygoods, rock, livestock, etc...

Surface skimmer (At the moment, I have a nano).

However, a long time ago (1990-91), I got an Eheim 2013 for AU$20. It was new, too.

I'd definetly have to second the floatswitch. Makes life much easier when you have an auto top off.

Calcium chloride from pool store, epsom salt and baking soda from supermarket.

Made gallons worth of Randy's 2-part for under $25.

Works great

Metallic Green millepora acro colony (baseball size) - $9

It was dying at my LFS and selling for $130. I tried fragging some pieces and the entire colony bounced back in my tank. I wish I had some pics to post, but I'm still trying to figure out how to get under 50kb w/ my camera/computer.
