What Should I Put In My Refugium??

i'm building a sump with the first section housing the skimmer then the refugium(second area) then the baffles to the 3rd chamber for in out take pump.

What should i put in each section(ie live rock, sand) and what lights do i need?

Alot of people like to use Chaeto under a grow light that you can purchase from Home Depot. You can put some live sand and live rocks also if you have room.

It is a macroalgae that looks like a brillo pad.

yes, its a natural algae that will help with the absorbtion of nutrients in the water and also helps keep things natural..
