Anybody have any idea what the life span fo coral is?

Many live for hunderds of years, but some have very short lifespans. There is far too much diversity in corals to say they live x amount of years.

Some corals, such as Acroporas, Xenia, etc.. are weeds in nature, and thus, have short life spans.

Others such as porities are builders, like big trees of the forest, and live for much longer.

I've own hundreds of different zoas and palys and don't know the name of a single one. In my opinion, they are a waste of valuable time. Mucho Reef
