is red algea bad for the display tank??
hello all.
i dunno if i post in the right section. feel free to del or move this post. tank spec: 130 gal display tank i have 1 400W MH 20 000K on for about 12 hr./day 2- 404 fuval filter Livestock: yello tang damsel some soft coral. sorry i dunno what they are called. I been clearning the front every morning for the last 2 months. I start to notice red sheet of algea starting to form on the bottom of my sandbed. Should i be removing these algea?? is this algea bad?? |

Cyano bacteria
It is a normal cycle, do weekly water changes as your tank matures and it will eventually subside. You need to do some research before you stock up your tank.
