ESU Coralife problems

I bought 2 of the Hang on tank MH 150's. I've had them installed about a week haven't touched them since last Thursday and then tonight one of the brackets broke and the light fell in my tank!!!!!

Anyone have experience with their warranty dept? Any chance of me getting a replacement bracket and glass bulb cover?

I would not recommend this item to anyone.

ESU is a grate company with there help with there stuff I have dealt with them a lot and just call them up and be nice and they will send you out a new glass bulb cover.

How did the mount break? I've had one for almost 2 years and it's very sturdy. Did you make sure to tighten all the screws?

I called them this morning and they are sending me 2 new brackets and a light shield. That's enough to make me happy.

Everything was tight last thursday. The platic seems to have just failed. I don't believe I overtightened it or anything. I've since put some eggcrate? (the white stuff used with office flourescents over the tank so I won't be paranoid about leaving them on. I was just really lucky that I was home when it happened.
