Lighting Question
I have a 10 gallon tank. I have a currentusa PC on top.
The lighting is 2 x 40 watts. Would the placement of the Actinic bulbs vs. The daylight bulbs make any difference to the corals? ie. Actinics in forward postions versus the back positions? I have lower light corals placed in the back, and a few more demanding ones placed towards the front, but, it is such a small space. Other than my personal viewing pleasure, is the actinic lighting giving off the same value of light as the daylight bulb? I'm thinking, it's ok to have the bulbs in any configuration, and if any movement, it might be height of the coral in the tanks that would or would not make any significant difference if any... comment and thoughts welcome... thanks, Bill |

I don't think it would matter at all. I've never heard of anyone placing the actinics or daylights in different positions to accomidate for higher-light corals. I wouldn't worry about it.
