Snail breeding question..
In my tank i only have two species of snails and 1 being margarita snails and the other being Turbo snails. A month ago i noticed tiny baby snails. maybe 1 millimeter in size. Today i noticed some of them grew maybe around 2 to 2 1/2 millimeters in size. Has any one heard of turbos or margaritas breeding in a captivity?. Im sure snails have, i my self just have no experience with it. Thanks.

I had some small sails when I first set up that came as hitchhikers, they seemed to breed cause their numbers increased, but with time they slowly disappeared. There are some snails which do reproduce successfully in our aquariums, but I dont believe margaritas or turbos do.
Check this article towards the bottom, called collonista. http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-05/rs/index.php
