I captured this bug(approximately 1 inch) and I have no idea what this is.
This bug doesn't show up when it is bright,
but when it gets dark, this bug shows up near the sponge
in the picture, especially near the discolored spot.

Please ID this bug and tell me whether it is related to
bleaching of the sponge.

not sure what that is so in that case I would do away with it ,or at least isolate it till you know for sure
