evaporation

my 12 gallon nano cube seems to lose a lot of water from evaporaton. is tbere anything i can do to slow down evaporation or do i just have to top it off every now and then? thanks william

Just keep topping it off... Maybe check your temp. to make sure its not too high.

Evaporation helps keep the tank temperature down. If you cover the tank or do something to reduce the evaporation the temp will go up. Best thing is top it up regularly or even add an auto topoff device. In small systems and inch or two of water can make a huge difference is salinity so try to keep up with it.
