alita or hakko air pumps safe for ozone
ok well i am gonna be getting an alita or hakko air pump for my skimmer. i currently have my ozone generator outlet airline in the intake for the skimmer air pump. i would like to do that same for my new pump and was wondering if it will damage anything inside the pump
Thanks Tim |

i really cant. if i place a T and then plumb the ozone into the T, downstream of the main pump, then there will be too much pressure for the ozone pump to overcome to pump in air. i have found that injecting the ozone into the intake of the main pump to be the easiest way, no fluctuation caused by intermittant air, like pumping it into a venturi.
