Maroon coralline
Hey,has anyone else had trouble with the deep red corlines .I have got plenty of pink ,but every time I introduce something with the deep red or purple it just disapeers.any ideas?

Mine grows on the underside of rocks, but not in direct light.

Maybe it's a deep sea algae that doesn't grow well in bright light.

It grows like crazy in my rock cave so I'm guessing it needs low light

my LFS has rock in their tank with intense maroons on it .when i purchase some it just disappeers ,they are using 175MH on the tankYhey have very little hermits though and I am now wondering if my tiny bluelegs are the culprits.

I have it in high and low light areas but I run PC's.

it grows in the shadows of a rock under my wimpy 65 watt PC in my 29, its exposed to the full light now and turning pink
