I am currently using an ASM G4 plus on a 200g reef. It does an excellent job of making crud etc. At the same time I've heard that Euro Reef is far superior performance wise. I really don't think I need to upgrade, but I was wondering if I did decide to upgrade, is Euro Reef worth the price strictly in terms of dollar value. The ER CS250 I'm considering is double what I paid for the ASM.

imo not unless you plan to run ozone...the performance should be very close to an ASM. Having said taht I love my euro reef skimmer, and it does an excellent job.
