will copper kill my bio filter?
will copper in the tank kill my bio filter? will it kill the bacteria in my sponge filter? do anyone know that those lil flea looking thing running all over my glass? is there anything that can eat them up?

copper will kill every invert in your tank. thats bacteria, snails, cucumbers, and so on. bacteria is what make bio filters work. so yes it will kill your filter. copper will also bond to the glass, silicon, LR, and sand of your tank. causing you to have to toss the LR, LS, posibly having to clean the glass with some acid to remove the copper. basicly if you have a sick fish that you are looking to treat with copper, use a hospital tank for that purpose. never use copper in the display!
the little fleas are probably copepods. free fish food, no need to worry about them.
