blueline e ballasts

how do these perform, a few reviews i read said that it uses less energy then icecap ballasts runs cooler but puts out less light, anyone's experience with these good bad... i also want a ballast that will last a long time
also i'm looking at a 175w and looking at maybe keeping acros... anyone done this?

Current Tank Info: 55 gal reef w/ 30 gal sump, 55 lbs of live rock, xenia, star poylps, kenya trees, a frilly mushroom, some bull's eye mushrooms, a purple tipped frogspawn, green striped mushroom, a yellow tang, lots of macro algae

well, 175 is ok with acros if you have them close enough to the light.

I can't reference the blueline against icecap, but i can say my blueline 250w works like a champ plugged into a timer and forget it. I've had it almost a year, and it was a couple years old when i got it.
