RBTA Splitting
My RBTA decided tonight is the night to split. I did notice today that the PH dropped and fluctuated. I drip Kalkwasser and the PH was running 7.7 while the lights were on. It is now back up to the normal 8.25. Has anyone noticed this when their BTA's split?
I assume that we should allow nature to take its course and not help in any way. My clowns are trying to help by diving at the tear and wiggling. Robert

The two haven't seperated completely. There is a small umbilical cord between the two and they are hanging out beside each other.
Again, I would assume that this is perfectly fine and leave them alone... Am I assuming correctly? Robert

Here's a pic...
It doesn't show the connection well but if you look close enough you can see the foot on the top rock of the baby and the "Mom's" foot is on the bottom rock. ![]()
