My 72g

Hey everybody, this site was recommended to me from a fellow reef lover, I thought I would start out by posting some pictures of my tank.

My basement, with two of my tanks: 72g reef and my 180g cichlid.

My 72g bowfront reef with a 4g refugum hanging on the back.

A Rainford's Goby with a gorgonian and an urchin in the background.

Mystery Wrasse with a bunch of corals in the background.

Psychedelic Mandarin Dragnet.

Watchman Goby

More in depth, I have a 72g bowfront tank with a 20g sump and a 4g refugum. My refugum contains livesand, liverock, some macro algae, and a few astrae snails. My tank contains 2 nfish, 1 mandarin dragnet, 1 watchman goby, 1 orange spotted sleeper goby, 1 rainford's goby, 1 flame angel, 1 mystery wrasse, 1 orchid dottyback, 1 bangai cardinal, 1 zebra moray eel, and a whole bunch of inverts. For lighting i'm using an Aqua Light Pro 250watt version.

I would say with one year in the hobby, you jumped in with both feet! Nice job, things look pretty good and the pics are not bad either

Hehe thanks! It was my girlfriend who got me into the hobby and wanted the first tank, and I was giving her a bad time saying it would be too much work and wasn't a good idea, and now--this is a direct quote from her from not too long ago--"Can we PLEASE get through ONE day where you don't even MENTION fish???" I usually take that opportunity to remind her that the whole thing is her fault

Nice tanks. Both of them. The 72 gallon is spotless. I need your cleaning skills. Love the Cichlids as well.

Be careful, you may wind up contemplating tearing down walls and displacing small children in order to fit that next tank

The shrimp have been smart enough to stay away from my eel so far, and it hasn't bothered any of my snails or emerald crab. He's actually a very peaceful specimen at just over one and a half feet long. I keep it fairly well fed with Hikari Krill and chopped up prawn and squid. He usually gets fed ever 2 or 3 days, when ever he pokes his head out to let me know he's hungry
