water
i have a local hole in the wall water store real close to me that sells drinking water.
he says his water is filtered 12 times... is this water safe for a reef tank to mix saltwater or for evaporation btw its .30 a gallon thanks |

depends if its RO/DI, I have heard distilled is good too,but I have no experiance with it.

he told me it wasnt distilled.. he said i could buy distilled water at sav-on
RO/DI... all he said was those units have 3 filters and cost 150.00 he said his has 12 filters and cost thousands.. So i thought i would try to get some advice here |

It really depends on if the filters are changed when they need to be. Check the TDS of the water and that will be a good indicator.
