clarkii question

If I have an orange-yellowish Clarkii Clownfish right now, is it going to turn black?? Because ive seen them turn black, and i was wondering what causes that?

mine turned black after loosing a very beloved anenome(R.I.P.) im curious too.....it started with a few spots then *poof* he was almost all black?
