PLEASE HELP !tuning cpr bakpak w mj1200 power
i just bought one of these combos used. cpr bakpak2w maxijet1200. i cant seem to get fine bubbles to shoot out of the pipe. is the screw vlave adjuster the only thing i can manipulate to tune the skimmer? does the mj1200 have any controls? ive heard of a finer tuning device such as a needle valve.. but what must i do to get it running as is - for now? the buubbles that pour out are large, and the bubble to chamber size ratio is really minimal. not only are the bubbles big, there arent many. and if i slowly close the screw valve , it eventually cuts the bubble flow off completely. there seems to be no "middle ground" where the bubbles are tiny. its either all large or none whatsoever. HELP PLEASE!

I haven't messed with one of these bak pak's but it sounds like the valve were the air comes in may be partly plugged. Try running hot fresh water through it and see if that helps. Good Luck
