Micro Bubbles

How to get rid of them?

BUMP...why wont anyone help me.....i have another question as well. if tons of bubbles come out of my sand when its stirred. does that mean oxygen level is too high??

dustybuddy, do you have a new skimmer? Most skimmers put out a lot of microbubbles until they get broken in--I know mine sure did. You can try attaching a block of filter foam to your skimmer's output (or whatever the source of your microbubbles is). HTH

Current Tank Info: 26 bowfront w/ 40 lbs. Fiji LR, 40 lbs. sand, Remora, 2 MJ1200 PHs, 65w dual daylight/65w dual actinic/moonlight, various snails, 2 ocellaris clowns, 1 diamond goby, 1 skunk cleaner shrimp, and a bunch of softies, mushrooms and zoos slowly moving in!

yeah i have micro bubbles in my tank too. but its only sometimes. i set the tank up 2 days ago and i get micro bubbles that come and go. one sec they are there then one second gone. i have a deltec hlp 4745 pump. no skimmer yet. what could be making these micro bubbles? maybe a leak?

Was getting micro bubbles in display. Seemed more from water returning to basement sump causing the bubbles, they then were making past the baffles and being pumped back to display. Made bubble trap (pail with holes on bottom) but putting 100 micron filter socks over overflow outlets made the huge difference.

Only a little appear from the skimmer (ASM G3 w/gate valve) and baffles get most of those.
