Are Chocolate Stars bad?

Someone was tearing down their tank and gave me two Chocolate Stars. I didn't want to put them in main tank so I put them in my prop. My prop tank only has a couple of small frags of each anthelia, yellow polyps, star polyps, zoos and a large piece of frogspawn. I did read that they eat snails and such.

Are the chocolate stars reef safe or should I look for a better home for them.

Jim

Not reef safe, I'd avoid them.

Trust me my friend, the names are not important at all. I've own hundreds of different zoas and palys and don't know the name of a single one. In my opinion, they are a waste of valuable time.

I know for a fact that they eat shrooms. That is, if you mean the chocholate chip starfish.
