Question Calcium reactor or Kalk

I have a 120 gallon tank well established for 5 years. Mostly soft coral. I am considering changing from two part Ca/alk additive to a calcium reactor or Kalk. I am also considering adding some sps. Any advice in this split in the road?

For softies I think you'll find Kalkwasser works fine. (I got tired of mixing it after awhile, though, and went back to using two part.)

Buy good calc/alk test kits, though. Once you start stony corals you will probably find that your calcium demand will go up. Kalk may not be able to keep up with high demand. At that point going back to 2 part or a calcium reactor (with controller) may be necessary.

for me i would just use a calcium reactor its complex at the beginning...but its well worth it...it may not be for everybody though...but my two cents it will make things a little easier
