Ozone and bubble alge

I have been considering adding ozone to my tank for many reasons.

I was now wondering if any of you had experince with adding ozone and noticed a decline in bubble alge or even go so far as to pop the little suckers and let the ozone kill the spores?

I know the best control for bubble alge is limit its nutrients and hand removal but this has taken me only so far.

Thanks
