I have never had an Elibi but I know my flame, bicolor, coral beauty, and singapore angels didn't do much about aiptasia.

Almost all dwarf angels prefer a nearly herbivore diet and should be offered foods along those of the herbivore feeds in the link below:

I've actually kept dwarf angels before...but when he made this claim.....Just makes ya wonder if I missed the boat on something! He also claimed that all his reef customers kept dwarf's and they NEVER touched any corals....I just had to see what others had to say....oh another claim;if you have copper pipes in your house don't use the hot water tap for any top up as that will contain copper (cold won't) as the hot water causes the copper to come out of the piping. Ok hello....
ah well...passed up on the angel.......when mine jumped ship I was considering adding another but I think I will fill the spot with a Mimic Tang....not sure yet.....I just don't have a really good "Centre Piece" fish.

I had a previous problem with Aiptasia, tried peppermint shrimp, and they got rid of some of them, but the larger ones still got around. I didn't want to purchase a Bergia nudibranch and have it starve after all were eaten, so I got a product called Stop-Aiptasia by Chem Marine, and it took care of all of them really quick. Only two of maybe 30 survived the first dose, but a week later I used it on those two, and they were dead in less than a day.
I'd try that if you still have problems |

Yes, in my experience, some centropyge angels will eat some aiptasia. When I was first starting out, I had some small hitch-hiking aips, but I didn't know what they were. I also had a coral beauty pygmy angel. I watched the coral beauty consume one of the aips one day. I didn't have too many aips, but within a few weeks they were all gone.
Conclusion - some pygmy angels will eat aiptasia, but I think the aips need to be small, and it certainly isn't a sure thing. FWIW, Kevin
