Reef Safe
Does anyone know if silicone grease is reef safe? Thanks

I'm using the silicone grease to seal an endcap to the bottom of my PVC skimmer. I don't want to glue the bottom endcap in place because then I can't get in there to change the limewood airstone when necessary. Do you think it would be a bad idea to use silicone grease for this purpose?

Silicone grease IS reef-safe, regardless of the use. This differs from silicone spray lubricant, which can contain volatile chemicals.
