Hi Eveyone!
I hope someone can help me! I've got a fairly new tank (approx. 2 months). No fish in there yet just a Hermit Crab and a Snail. A couple of days ago i noticed quite a few bright, bright orange patches on a small piece of live rock. does anyone have any ideas what they are? They also seem to be growing quite rapidly. Did a water change on Sunday. Any responses would be much appreciated! Thanks, Zoe x |

Sounds more like sponge than algae but, as mentioned above, a picture would help.

Does sound like a sponge, Good for your tank if it is. A pic would help. It's kinda like saying ".... there is this green thing growing in my yard.... it has leaves....."
