It looked to me like the only thing in it was sand and cement. If you mixed it dry enough and made a bunch of irregular rocks then cemented those together I think you could come up with some similar looking stuff.
His name was zooqi and he had another thread that wasnt locked. I cant seem to find it right now.

The reason the thread was locked was that the person in question was drumming up support to sell his wares.
That said, he is trying to fund a project to help kids learn about reefing. You may want to contact the guy via PM and I am sure he would provide you with an idea of how you could "help". |

Depending on the "help" he was after, I'd be game maybe.

yeah, actually I saw that he was planning out a dvd/book and I wanted to ask in his thread (but didnt think to at my earlier viewing) if he was going to make people pay for it.....
"Trying to fund a project to help kids learn about reefing" could very well mean he was going to make a buck, create a sweet tank, and have the negibors' children over... I can see why the mods would delete that. The rock was the best man made I have ever seen, however... and I would not mind paying a nominal fee for instructions... |

As for the rock, I also saw that. In person it's quite a sight. Had incredible shape and the makeup of it almost seemed real. It was in an empty display tank (stuck my nose into tank and it smelled very much of just cement/sand). To guess, I would say cement/ FINE sand (no CC that I saw) (melted/shapen pvc for caves and crevaces) and it was in just about perfect proportion. Past that I can't offer any help as I didnt see any of the info.....just the rock itself.
