powerheads for shallow water
I have a shallow frag tank thats about 12" tall. The overall dimensions are 36x25x12. I have mostly sps, but some softies like leathers and mushrooms. I was wondering what the best powerhead would be to provide the tank with the best overall flow. It is a BB tank. I am currently using maxi-jets, but they just don't get the circulation I need. I was looking at tunzes, but the tank is only 40 gallons so they might be too powerful.

I have heard seios aren't that reliable though, is this true? I was looking over a thread where melev did a mod to a maxi-jet by cutting the tube for the outflow off. I have also seen mods for the maxi-jet that use propellers. I was wondering if this would be possile in my tank?
