wich overflow to get ?
I am planning on buying a new 125 gallon acrilic tank from my LFS to upgrade from my 75 AGA, I am using a HOB Lifereef overflow on my 75, but want to go with built in corner overflows in the 125, the owner of the LFS said it is better to drill the back of the tank and install 4 - 1 1/4" bulkheads with strainers @ the water line, because they don't take up any room in the tank, are quieter and almost invisable when compared to corner overflows, I have noticed that all his tanks are set up this way and seem to work really good, but I am still not sure wich way to go, any input on this would be great.
Thank you Chris |

If you have seen them work, are quiet (his piping may go horizontal and be near the level of the bulkhead) and can handle the flow you want to run (is he running comparable flow)-- why not???
