Question Black Tips on Green Finger Leather

Hello,

I have a green finger leather that I've had for about a year and a half. Just a few weeks ago, it started growing some kind of black thing (fungus?) on its tips, and the small polyps do not come out then. I'm worried that this is some kind of disease. Can anyone tell me what it is, and what I can do about it? It's attached to a rock that has a bunch of other corals, and my anemone, attached to it, so if I can treat it in my tank that would be best.

Cheers,
Susan
