Question Will durso standpipe > 1" fit in AGA megaflow overflow?

Question for you AGA megaflow owners - is the megaflow overflow big enough to allow an oversized durso standpipe?

To try to make the overflow as quiet as possible I was thinking of making it out of 1.25" pvc rather than just the 1" but I was not sure if it would fit. (Have not bought the tank yet).

Any information that could be provided would be great!

(I believe I read somewhere that oversizing the standpipe would help to make it more quiet - if this is not the case please let me know as well).

Thanks,
Amb

An important read for AGA with 1" drains is located here.

Click on durso pipes at the middle of the page. Once that screen loads, click on build your own at the top. For some reason, I can't link strait to it

Thanks - I was not sure if the new megaflow overflows from AGA were larger than the ones that were referenced on that page or not. But that helps confirm that 1.25" PVC is the hands down choice and should fit.

Thanks!
